Magic Hour on the West Coast
Guys – last week, I did something I’ve never done before. I went to Coachella. And while I pumped about the festival, I was equally excited to take advantage of the trip and spend some time in super chill and sunny Southern California.
For the week prior to Coachella, I hung out in LA and made time to go to my favorite spots – the Hollywood Hills, Santa Monica Pier, WeHo, Malibu, and all the usual suspects. And without fail, every single day, I had friends asking if I wanted to meet somewhere for happy hour. Now, I have absolutely nothing against a happy hour cocktail or two, but you know what I realized? Happy hour happens to coincide with probably the most beautiful time to be outdoors in SoCal. So, instead of wasting that magic hour getting wasted at a bar, my friends and I hit up some other awesome spots instead. Check them out and do not miss my outfit recommendations (all Perry Ellis – seriously, they make the perfect pieces for soaking up all that Cali has to offer).
Watching The Sunset in Malibu
Name a better setting to watch the sunset, I’ll wait. Pacific ocean to one side, hills and cliffs to the other, and the most perfect weather ever (aka, no humidity, yassss).
Going for a Walk to El Matador – State Beach
This is hands-down the best way to deepen your spiritual relationship to nature – the view is ridiculous, plus you get a workout.
Wandering The Desert Views in Route to Palm Springs
One of the coolest things about SoCal is how different it is from Miami. We have no desert in sight, so I really had to check out the scenery for myself. Palm Springs is beautiful!
